I hope someone can help - I know nothing about leather seats. My latest car (a Kluger) has them and I have now done 90,000K and the drivers seat in particular is beginning to look a different colour. I looked at an old Lexus 400 tonight in a shopping centre which has the same coloured seats (much better quality also) but much older - they looked terrible - Is there any way I can rejuvenate leather? - Mine are not dirty or misused - just changing colour.

Thanks

The leather is dirty. That is why it has changed colour. My car has beige leather and needs a good clean every 6 months or so.

Before you buy any expensive potions, try some mild soap (velvet?) with a cloth and water. If there is ingrained dirt, use a soft nail brush. Leather is pretty tough stuff and will handle a reasonble scrub.

Good luck,

Jim.

I can't think of a funny reply - Car is great for what it does so I want to keep it for 300,000K or so. We have a Jck for the dirty stuff.

Got to a furniture shop where they sell Jason Lazey Boys (stuffed if i know how to spell it!) and ask for some of their leather cleaner - it works like magic!

WDR,

The best thing I have found for keeping leather seast looking A1 is a product called Renapur Leather Balsam, it's a great product and easy to put on.

You can check it out at the following link

We've tried a few cleaners on our beige leather lounge which had gone a shade of grey. Nothing worked.

Then one day I was given a pack of Turtle Wax Leather Cleaner and Conditioner Wipes - cleaned it up like freakin magic.

I think the wipes were picked from a $2 shop.
