About to give the cruiser a bit of a lift and have been given the following spring recomendations-850 J's for front and 863 J's for rear. The "J" stands for comp/long travel and give about 3" lift. Also fitting N73L and N74L shocks(L for long travel).Have to lover the bump stops 25mm so shocks dont top out.
Has any one got this combo on and if so hows it go(will be getting caster correction bushes to).

Gday Nick,

Are you getting the springs etc from Darryl (ARB shop in town)? You just can't keep upgrading your car in front of me and sprooking off about it LOLOL. Any luck with the rear wheel carriers?

I won't be getting springs until next year, so it will be good to know how yours go. I am trying to get booked in for LPG injection at the end of the year, so I may beat you to that one....

Cheers Andrew

I have ran these springs and they are nice :) If you have a heavy backside i would recomment 864's or 868's instead, as the 3j's are not that much of a load carrier...200kgs from memory (kaymar and l/r tank full and they are struggling)....
The front is not so easy....it will be ok if you have a diesel with winch and steel bar and dual batteries, but if you are light on, you will get front driveshaft vibration and need to buy double cardon front shaft to fix it or part time it...you will need to space down the swaybars front and rear, A pair of front diff 75 series bumpstops in the back fixes the shock bind, and the best way to run rear shox is a pin/eye adapter up top and ome n29 gq rear shox which are eye/eye configuration...no more shock bush problems once you do this.(ome shocks are longer than other aftermarket shocks to suit thesame vehicle...so keep that in mind when you look for shocks...
With the front, i found that a gq front shock to suit a 6 inch lift is exactly what you need for the 850j front, i used tough dogs.
