I was in Puerto Rico last week and a couple of mates had the new Garmin Handheld/GPS Combo. Pretty impressive up to about 4ks. Just beep each other and the GPS sets a track to meet and you can talk at the same time. Cost here in the USA is about $170 us a piece. Great idea when you want to go two different directions in the bush.

do u know the model this is based on ie name or accuracy ?amount of satteletes(BAD SPELL I KNOW ITS LATE OK)
when you say talk to each other is it like a fm/uhf transciever or a phone setup?
due to price i would say uhf
