Just having a browse and noticed they were selling 9500lb winches for $599 with 3yr warranty, straps, Big haul looking hand winch for $299, 4 stroke 2kv gen for i think $360ish??

Anyways just FYI...Leroy

You can if you wish log onto the aldi site and you are notified via email the oncoming specials before they hit the papers. a mate has bought one of their electric winches and it'll be interesting to see how it goes!

The 12V Compressors in the hard case are a good buy too if you can get one....

1 major problem with the 12v compressor [copy of a very well known] is the hard case ,no matter how I try ,the case just wont fit into my outback drawer system ,damn good compressor but !

I had a look at www.aldi.com.au and recovery gear wasn't in there specials list which start from 24th , is it a current special perhaps ?

Im in NSW and I pulled their(Aldi's) page up and its all gym and fitness gear, no sign of any winches etc? With that said, they did have winches etc for the VIC market a couple of months ago.

The winches and recovery kits (straps, shackles etc) were advertised on special a few months ago, but the local store still has some stock, so they are selling them at reduced prices.

The winches were never sold in NSW.

yes we picked up one the hand winches from aldi on saturday for $249.
