Hi,
In September we are heading up to the Burrum National
Park (Kinkuna Section) for a week. Does anyone have any suggestions of good
places to go after this for approx 4-5 days? Looking for 4wd access/fun place
camping (campertrailer).
We have been to Broadwater Nat
Park, Goodnight Scrub looking for somewhere new.
Cheers,
Tanya

Hoping to be at Kinkuna ourselves around the 25 Sept. But anyway it depends how far you would like to travel, one of our favourite spots is Expedition Nat
Park, a little drive but
well worth it. From Woodgate go via
Eidsvold to
Cracow (check out the pub) turn left there go to
Taroom then North West to Expedition.
Cheers Bruce.

What about Imbil?
Not a bad spot for a couple of days and some great driving to be had around this area. Cheese factory at Kenilworth,
Rainbow Beach, Amamoor SF and more, all within driving distance and then there is
Red Hill (BIG RED HILLCLIMB), definitely Low Range territory if you got the goolies (I don't hehehehe), about 2km from the
Deer Park which would be my suggestion for accommodation in this area.
Imbil is SW of Gympie if you are looking for it on the map.
Cheers, Trevor.
