Stick-on Spottie Protector Stuff

Anyone used that stick on stuff for spotlights? Had thos bubble covers but have broken them and thought I would give this stauff a go.

We use a clear 3M product- even fits the concave lens of the Cibie light. No degredation after 4 years (and- touch wood, no broken lights)...
Had used it for many years in Rallying days. Use it on the auxilliary drive lights and the headlights.

I bought a product called "light skinz" from repco i think 2 sheets about 450mm x 200mm for $30 and their great ,been on both cars d/lights & the cruisers twin headlights for 2 years now.........cheap insurance !!!!

Ill go the other way to the above ,when we bought the 80series I thought the lights and spotties where rather dull , went and bought new globes ect, find out while fitting same that lenses had a 3/4mm stickon "protectors" ,pain in the proverbial to remove but once done lights 100% brighter .

Yes, I buy the stick on stuff from Supercheap, it is also made by 3m.
I have used it for years on headlights as
well as spotlights, much better than those hard plastic headlight covers.

used some on my old truck & they worked great but i did have a problem when i used them for along time without turning them off & they got very soft & the bugs
stuck to them & you could not clean them had to peel it of which is not easy
