On return from our recent Northern trip I noticed that the paint on the infills on my ARB colour coded bullbar is peeling slightly. Took it to ARB
Gold Coast for a look.
While I was there I mentioned that I thought the front of my vehicle has dropped a bit since the OME springs were put in. We measured the hight and found that a drop of about 25 mm had occurred.
Got a call today. They will replace the infills and will fit new springs.
I'd rather not have the problems, but it is good to know they back their product when one arises.

My ARB bullbar has very little paint left on it....lol. Two bolts holding the bar broke on this last trip. I managed to replace one. The other still has to be removed and replaced. My OME shocks are stuffed too but about 1000km out of warranty...bugga!

Don't think you are the typical 4WDer though Willem. 10,000 of your KM is probably worth 40,000 of what some of these things were designed for.
My
suspension got a real pounding on my recent trip, but only for about 6,000KM. In total I'd done about 30,000 KM since the OME was installed. Hope the replacement ones last a bit longer.

given your profile Willem, it'd be worth asking ARB to give you some credit on the OMEs - after all, they will probably be able to get the dosh out of OME.
Which bar mounting bolts failed on the bar - I was just going over all the bolts on
mine today for tomorrow's trip and they all are there and fine. Tomorrow's last job is to tighten the latch on the swing-away arm for one of the
wheels on the Kaymar bar.
Ciao for now
Andrew.

Andrew
Not so sure about the profile thing...lol
The lefthand side bolt broke and a bolt underneath dropped out. Not sure whybut it could be due to vibration from the HF whip aerial.
I will be in
Port Augusta on Monday and will have a chat to Fitzy(ARB stockist) while I am there.
Tomorrow is new windscreen day and a trip to
Port Pirie. One has to drive a distance here to get things done :-)
Cheers
