Hi all,
I found some really
well made aluminium boxes at the local R*PCO made by diamondtproducts. They have a model specifically made to fit on the A frame of a camper / caravan. Before I hand over my 'hard-earned' I wondered if anyone else had found any other types that I might consider ? The ultimate would probably be custom made at the local fabrication
shop, but I would expect it to be considerably more expensive option.
Initially, I thought about fitting those spacesaver type plastic boxes, but the diamondtproduct looks so much neater being purpose made.
Interested to know what others have done to turn the A frame into a useful cargo storage area ?
Thanks, Red-one.

Cammo,
The A frame box is $485, but I do not think REPCO carry them as a normal stock item.

We had one especially made by Diamond Products to fit the shape of the front of the camper and the stone guard. We went this way as we wanted to carry buckets for washing etc on trips. I stand on the top of the box to pull the tent area out of put back in stong as anything but still light for drawbar weight.
The unit seals
well for dust and is lockable.
