Has any one fitted the ARB Small Air compressor (diff lock type) under bonnet of 2004 gu fitted with 4.2 td with intercooler & duel Battery's as its crowded in there & i don't want to fit it under the
seat as some times you get the oil blow back smell, 90 grade stinks

Vincent, not sure if yours is the same as
mine, but a coil cab chassis I have my ARB compressor where some have the anti lock brake setup is on some of the others. I mounted a little plate in there on original bolt holes. Not at home at the moment to send a picture but it is in the engine bay! Intercooled and dual batteries too. Twine shower and all.

Mine is fitted in the Right hand rear corner looking at it from the front, Ute, 4.2 I/C, dual batteries, if you like I will take a pic and email it too you. John

saw one today in a GU-III - it is mounted in a very crowded spot on the guard close up to the firewall in front of the passenger - I have no idea, but would not be surprised to find something needed moving or re-routing.

Mine's fitted drivers side tucked in the corner near the window in front of the battery.
