Can anyone advise of the capacities of the standard fuel tanks in a 2001 GXL petrol Landcruiser?
Are they the same as my 80 series which I think is 95 Litres in the front tank and 50 Litres in the rear tank? I have the Hayes workshop manual but can't seem to find this info anywhere.

Thanks guys.

Yes. 95 and 50 but I have run them dry an you can put 163L back in but that is full up to the cap.

Hi Jo,

Yes I have been here lurking, I guess I just haven't had many questions of late.

We've still been praying for Mark though. How is he going?

I have just returned from 4 days riding motorbikes on our farm. 9500 of steep country that borders 50,000 of state forest. It is great 4wd country but we need to run through with the dozer and the chainsaw as the tracks have not been cleaned for about 5 years. We rode solidly for 4 days and barely rode on the same track twice and I have still marked another dozen or so tracks on the GPS that I have never been down and will save for next time.

I am looking forward to going to work today for a rest. Can't see that happening in our industry. I work in a social housing program that provides crisis housing for homeless people.

regards,

Brett
