Anyone else heading across the Simpson - West to East in the last week of August?? I've been planning this trip for about a year and my 2 "mates" who said they'd be up for it have pulled out at the last minute. So I was wondering if anyone from here was heading over at that time and wouldn't mind a tag along. I'm used to travelling on my own but I get sick of talking to myself ;)
I was going to be in
Birdsville for the races cause my 2 mates had never been, but I've been twice before so I don't have to go now.
I'm fully self sufficient, just would rather go with other like minded 4x4ers and also as a bit of a safety net.

Sorry Hughesy, this won't help, but just wanted to say I'll see you at the races :o) We're coming up from
Brisbane for our first time at the races and Can't wait. Andrew.
