i liked the car advert in saturdays paper, one of those comparison things between a getz, yaris, & ford.
fuel consump- getz 6.1 yaris 6.0 ford 6.6
alarm yes no no
front active
headrests yes no no
leather gear
knob yes no no
steering
wheel remote yes no no
......wait a minute, did they say leather gear knob
well i had to read no further, the leather gear knob swung it for me!
also, the advert mentioned that "AUSTRALIAS BEST CARS, BEST SMALL CAR 2005", and in small letters "for the getz 1.6 3-door", which was not the car they were trying to sell.
gota love those advertising people
makes me wonder what you are not getting!

I own a Daihatsu Coure. Daihatsu have stopped making this model but I get greater fuel economy than all of those previous mentioned and more power than most of them.
I regards to advertising I wonder at times if the people who pay for them and I don't mean Joe average on the street rearly look at some of their adverts????? If they did I think that they would change their advertising agents.
I'm glad that I have a mute button on my tele though.

Howie,
Some private advertisers are just as bad. I recently went through the process of buying a second hand 04 Prado. Everything was, "in Excellent Condition", "Immaculate" or "Like New". I had a look at a couple and when i told them of my disappointment with the car they were like "what do you expect, its a second hand car". My reply, "
well advertise it as such". One of them had very little paint left on the plastics on one side and then had the nerve to say "but it only needs a touch up". Yeah mate, and so do you.
Cheers
Dave
