Clarks Rubber in Balcatta sell the plastic bits and there is a Aluminium and Steel place half way down Dellamarta road in Wangara that sells the alloy square tube in 6 metre lengths, about $30.

Whoa !!
30 Bucks ! Mate Ullrich in archerfield (
brisbane ) selling the 6m length for $15, might be worth a phone call to see if they have any distributors or branches over there before spending that amount.
Also check around before getting the plastic joiners, I saw them in Clark rubber here and they were trying to flog them at some ridiculous price like $5 or $6 @, I was paying $1 - $1.20 @ from Ullrich, better check around first.
