Jeep problem ( engine cutting out while driving along ) solved !! Thought I would let all you would-be mechanics know the outcome.
It was the imobiliser system , hence the enging cutting out for no apparent reason ............................... Had new one fitted and working ok.
Thanks to all who came to my aid , epecially Chris.
Also to guy who said it was "just a jeep thing " I know exactly what you mean , I love my jeepster too !
