The Merty Merty road from CC to the old Strezlecki and then Innamincka was in pretty good nick when we travelled it 6 weeks ago, as was the Walkers crossing track although some sandy sections, no prob to a 4wd. The Birdsville track was very good and the QAA from Birdsville to Poeppels was ok with the occasional soft dune.

The Cordillo road tends to be rocky and slow in sections but usually improves on the sandy sections down towards Innamincka.

G'day B & D, we travelled from C.C , Haddon Corner, Birdsville to Poeppels Corner about 5 weeks ago and they had the first heavy rain for 12 months and there was alot of water around. There are alot of bulldust holes around C.C, but most are marked.

Cheer, Lance
