Just had a turbo fitted to a Troopie 1HZ motor - tremendous improvement. Was wondering if anyone has experience with getting insurance cover after fitting a turbo?

I didn't have any insurance problems when I put a Turbo on the old 2H troopy. Not exactley a serious performance mod...

Hi Pete,

Not sure if you are in Qld but RACQ premium was exactly the same when I advised them that my 80 series Landcruiser had an aftermarket turbo fitted.
I was expecting the preimum to be a couple of hundred dearerbecause of the turbo.
