Hi all,
I have done a bit of a search on this already, but didnt really find alot on this product.
Does anyone have any experience with T-max air compressors? Im talking about the portable ones for a couple of hundred dollars, not the vehicle mounted ones.
I am not familar with the t-max brand - whats it like?
I gather that t-max is different to "max air" that I see being mentioned alot?
Basically Im after a good portable air compressor, but don't know what brand to go for. Projecta? T-max? Arb? Preferably under $300.
Any suggestions, and
places in
Melbourne to buy?
Thanks

I brought a TJM Air Compressor for $198.00 from TJM Geebung (www.tjmgeebung.com.au). Has a 5 year warranty on it so thought it was a better backed unit then the projecta unit. Still think its made in China but if it cost $200 bucks and lasts 5 years I'm happy.

G'day James - tyr your local Don Kyatt. They seem to have reasonable prices on their gear. Bought a compressor off the local branch many years ago for about $150 (can't remember brand) and it's still going OK.

James B,
Been looking for a 72lt / min one for a while and bought oe from Supercheap Auto at Marion (
Adelaide suburb) only yesterday.
$179 down to $129 for Fathers day!!
Runs
well, rubber mounted on a sand tray etc, so for that price if I get a few years out of it I'll be happy, as it is not a thing you use every day.
Comes complete with a 10 mt coiled hose, Gauge etc all in a nice canvas zip up carry bag.
Worth a look
