Hilux suspension

Does anyone have an idea how much it costs to have the IFS on a Hilux changed to live axle and coils? Where in Melbourne do they do it? Is it legal/roadworthy? What has to be done? etc

The new 4wd Monthly has a write up on it. Give it a read when you get it.

Looks like they fitted a 80 series front end.

Cheezy Racing has been doing quite a few of the earlier IFS 'Luxes.

Here's a link to a thread on perth4x4 of a guy who did a 3.0LTD IFS lux to solid axel (SAS).

It's got HEAPS of info and MANY MANY pics.

Over here we can only SAS lux's with leaf springs up front, can't do coils, not allowed. But read the link for more info.
