Anyone used the Power Distribution Box on their 70 series?

Was thinking of powering my spotties off the 20 amp fuse in it.

Cruiser, I think if you do that you could be a trifle dissappointed. I did it, and the voltage drop was quite considerable, ended up making a seperate circuit for the spots.
What I do use the box for though is the (switchable) solenoid on the dual batt. setup. The aux. terminal used means that when the ignition key is on (aux. or engine run) the solenoid will be connected to the aux. batt. unless I have switched the solenoid off by an over ride switch. This guarantees the batts. are isolated when the key is out of the ignition, and I can choose to either isolate or charge the aux. batt. when driving.

I'd suggest you run the spoties off the back of the alternator with a fuseable link and into a relay. The power box runs my shower and is good for that application in that it is ignition switched. Cheers
