Bob,
I put 255x70x16 BFT A/T on mine and was warned without a lift kit it would rub if I put on any wider tires.
I really wanted at least 265's as i've got 8 inch rims.. This size doesn't require any correction on the speedo, as i found that with a GPS 100km/h is exact as on the speedo.

Can't help with the rest, but goodies sounds good:)

I've got 31/10.5s on mine. Speed is now spot on. The increased tyre size corrected the previous speedo error.

I've got a new model also. Fitted new 16''x7'' rims with BFG/AT 265x70x16.

First fiited with no lift, tyre drivers side ocassionally just touched mud flap when on full lock.

Put on OME 50mm lift -no problem (speedo out about 2km/h-gps checked at 100km/h

Have seen 275x75x16 on a ARB vehicle with front mud flaps removed (Dandenong)
Not sure on speedo reading/and if any touching.

just a query, what brand is that tyre that you mentioned in 275/75x16 ? as far as I know you can get a 265 or a 285 in 75/16 but have never come across a 275. Let us know can ya?

Max.

Bob, are you getting SR or SR5 model?

SR5 comes with 15" rims, I think the SR has 16" rims. Which may be redundant if you're going to put new rims on it, but you could get two lines of responses here!

There's not much you can get these days with the hose-out option. Even the Tritons are coming out with leather in the GLS, I'm told.
