Just wanted to know if anyone has been to
Vrilya Point and C.B.Landing recently, what the conditions of the roads are and what we should expect. Any info would be appreciated.

We camped ovenight at Captain Billy's about 3 weeks ago. Good drive in and nice
campsite. Get there early and you get to use the shelter which is great if the wind is up. There's a couple of good creeks before
the beach where you can collect
water if necessary. Fishing supposed to be excellent.

We stayed at Vrylia point in mid July and it is a great spot. The road in is very good and no need for 4wd. There is a tin roof shelter there that was great the night we had a bit of rain. Try to leave the place a little cleaner that you find it. Others that use it are a bit careless with the rubbish.
The beach is covered with washed up litter and guess which country is the place of origin of the products. Indonesia!! If you have finished with it, chuck it is the ocean, seems to be the rule!

Ian, Is it true that Vrylia has plenty of sandflies and mozzies?

Thanks guys.
Did you go to Chilli Beach aswell?
If so, what are the roads like, which way from the development road did you go and is it dog friendly?
Thanks Phill

We stayed at Virlya point in mid june. Sandflies were an issue but the bushman kept them away. Best place we've ever camped. Caught some great trevally off
the beach.
