Saw the write in the paper about alternative fuels and biodiesel.
It mentioned that Freedom Fuels are starting to make B20 available in
Brisbane.
Popped over to my local Freedom Fuel outlet at Rocklea.
Told they will have it in about 6 to 8 weeks, and it will be going
Brisbane / SE Qld wide. 20 outlets.
Goondiwindi already has it.
Any one heard of any other outlets?

One plant already open at Narangba.
2nd about to open.
Selling commercially/wholesale only at the moment.
Freedom are buying theirs from NSW.
Evidently a few farmers out
Goondiwindi way suggested the alternative to Freedom Fuels.
"Make biodiesel available and we will buy it."
Good on them.
Freedom Fuels came to the deal.
They will be advertising in about a month as they release it on the market.

Bio diesel is available from Ecotech in pottasium dr. Narangba now, they will only sell it to you in 1000lt IBC's ( plastic containers inside alloy cage ) minumum amount, at $1.10 plus GST per litre.
The bio available from here is made of canola and palm oil as opposed to the Aus. Biodiesel Group, next door, which is made from mainly tallow.
Anyone interested in picking some up in their trailer/ute and transfering it to 44gal drums, it weighs 870kg per 1000lts. If anyone is interested in doing this let me know I will come and get a couple of drums off you. ( have my own drums)
Oldplodder, will find out more on the 20% stuff as it most likely will be available from Neumanns as
well as they fill at the same terminal.

I live on the southside of brissy and would love to get my hands on so more Bio. Was doing my own (not the full on distillary thing) but the fear of fuel pump problems stopped

I think this is great although I still think at 1.10 a litre its to expensive, a mate has been doing his own for two odd years now ...... and costs him 17c a litre .....
Then again he's not giving the government a rip off tax in FUEL excise either or paying wages.
