Morning All
Wondering if anyone can tell me please how to change the little battery which powers the temperature display in a 40L engel fridge. It's the silver 40yr anniversay model about 2 years old.
Whilst I don't expect it to be a challenge I do recall the steps involved seemed quite particular.
Like usual, the instructions that came with it are filed away somewhere safe for future reference. hmmm if only I could remember where that safe place is!
Thanks
Brad

Hi Brad,
Inside of your lid, you will find how to do this easy job. You will need an LR44 Battery, usually costing about $1.50.
1. Remove the lid from the fridge.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws that are the lid hinges.
3. Remove the 2 top screws at the back/top of the cowl, behind the temp display.
4. Lift the top carefully up and undo the battery screw.
5. insert new battery any the display will work again.
6. Put it all back together again.
