Prado 120 Parking Lights

The Prado manual tells you how to change most of the globes in the car but for some reason says that the
parking lights must be changed by the dealer "otherwise you may damage the vehicle" (what the !!).
So since i have to change one from my last trip, i thought i'd see if anyone knows what is meant to be so difficult about changing them (I know i'll have to take out the battery to access the rear of the LHS globe)
