Aux tank for FJ73

Hi, I have a 1985 FJ73 cruiser and want to replace the main fuel
tank with a mid-mount
tank to allow room for a LPG conversion. I cannot afford a new after-market
tank, so was wondering if anyone might know anything about adapting a mid-mount
tank off another model?

Hi, Have a look at a HJ75 ute or pc main
tank. It sits behind the t-case and over the driveshaft, it might fit.

Thanks steve, but the 73 is basically a baby troopie, so almost no room between transfer and floor. I am beginning to think I have to save up my pennies for a LRA after-market
tank.
