Brian
If you happen to see the Ray johnson, the catholic priest up there say hello from Bob and Frances from
Scone. He's a nice bloke.
Sorry we can't come, we have prior arrangements at
Hay.
Ray tells us its a great event.
Regards Boo

Will do, I know a Ray Johnson and unless he's a changed man he was not a priest by any stretch of the imagination. Guess there are two people with the same name. :)
I'm sure it will be a great event ........
Camping under the stars, good food, beer not a lot more one needs, looking forward to it.
May catch up on another trip outing.

Hey Brian,
We are very interested in attending this weekend and would normally stay in a caravan
park for the facilities. There are two parks in Millmerran, are your 15 sites in one of those or are you
free camping?
Looks like a top weekend.
Cheers, Patrick

Patrick,
I was going to stay at one of the caravan parks however ....... I figured it would be easier on people to stay at the
Show grounds where the event is being held. That way people could set up and stay set up and just walk to the event.
If you want to join in let me know and I will fire off some info. My details are in the trips/ gathering section.
I guess there are a few EO people who will go but not stay at the showgrounds maybe we could all gather and meet up Saturday night :)

Brian,
Are there any facilities ie power and
water connections at the Showground or are they just
free camping spaces?
Do you have any further information other than is what's on the official web site?
Cheers, Patrick

Sorry to pop this back at the top.
But: To the visitors that have indicated they want to come can you please contact me via the email address in the trip gathering section so I can post some information out for you. I don't know how to contact you otherwise:):)
Daisygirl ...... Not sure how long it will take from
Brisbane to
Toowoomba but I'm guessing 2.5 / 3 hours max. Also check out my members section and you we at least see what my vehicle looks like :). I will have my UHF on channel 30 at the show if that helps:)
I will be leaving
Brisbane approximately 10am next Wednesday if anyone is interested in joining me.
Looking forward to meeting everyone as
well.
Thanks
Brian

Daisygirl,
According to the RACQ travel planner, it takes about 3.5 hours for us to travel from near
Brisbane northside to Millmerran via
Toowoomba. They state they it is 219 klms that should be travelled in 3.21 hours. With our van in tow it will take a wee bit longer.
Toowoomba is 138klms from us with travel time at 2.13 hours. Millmerran is another 81 klms further on.
If you want to work the figures out from your home try
link text
Hope this helps
