Anyone know why the firing order on TB42 is 153624 but it is 142635
on TD42 ??
Also, which pair of cylinder are in same position 1&6, 2&5, 3&4 ??
Are they same on both TD42 and TB42 ???

I honestly don't know much about it, but looking at the firing order one is the reverse of the other. Could have something to do with the drive to the injector pump (do they use the same type of pump or is on the "rotary type' while the other is the "conventional type"?).

No. As long as it is a Patrol 4.2 diesel engine (TD42), their firing order is 142635 (both inline and rotatry pump).
But on petrol engine, it is 153624..........and this make me curious !
