Hi,
We, three vehicles are lookint to travel Broken Hill to Gammon Ranges in July, 2003.
Has anyone got any experience of travelling via Cockburn, Mulyungarie, Bernagerie to Frome Downs. Can you tell me what the road is like at that time of year bearing in mind the weather conditions.
We aare experienced 4WDers and are in two diesels and a petrol.

kev. - fantastic place however on way back if via wilpena pound - drop into WILLOW SPRINGS sheep station just before WILPENA. they have a great 4wd track around their property called SKYTREK. takes about 3/4 hours. as your are experienced 4wdrs ask Brendon/Carmel to let you have a crack at MOONWALK. also they have nice accommodation places. managers-residence/jackaroos-cottage/school-of-air-cottage.
their e-mail is reynoldswsp&bigpond.com.au - however their booking agent is Janet at F.R.A.B.S (flinders ranges accomm. service) HAWKER
e-mail bookings&frabs.com.au. - you'll enjoy a stay there - guarantee it.
going up there end this month .
