Hi all
Been off the radar for a while, 7 weeks into our trip.
Need to get the Troopy serviced and we'll be in Mackay next week - any heads up on a trusted diesel mechanic in the area.
Cheers
John

Hi ozdyssey,
Try Kev from Archi Auto's, they are in Archibald St, Paget. Head east from the city gates, over the rail overpass, then straight through the roundabout. His workshop should be about 200m on the right from the roundabout.
I have taken my 1994 diesel landcruiser ute there for
services and mechanical repairs, does a decent job and trys to get your job done if its urgent. Dropped ute off before work, get phone call to pick up ute by lunchtime.
Parents also take their car to him for
services and repairs, trusted
well known mechanic.
My service was $212.36 back in March for a 150,000km service.
Fuel filters, oil filter, coolant change, tensioned bolts, check over, etc but i supplied my own oil because i buy it when it is on special.

I know of plenty but they are working at the mines or are otherwise difficult to get into, we have labour shortage in the area.
Central Coast
Services - 4952 7755
or
Complete Maintenance - 0427 756 778
Both know diesel in and out, second knows cruisers
well.
