I recently bought some sheepskins for the 105 series from a bloke who's name I can't remember just at the moment, but his business is on Warrigal Road, just near the corner of North Rd (I believe you're in Cranbourne or close to...). Cost me $200 for both front buckets and they're pretty well made. Sheepskin tops and sides, with synthetic on the backs. They fit better than any others I've had in the past... no affiliations etc...just a happy customer.

Given that we're about to have a billy lid, I've not bothered with the rear one, but may get canvas for the rear for obvious reasons...

Cheers,
Mark

Can vouch for the ruffnuts.Just got one custom made for my stratos suspension seat in my troopy!! Perfect.Even give you personlised embroidery for nix.Why I like them most(from a smokers point of view) is they claim that a smouldering ciggie wont burn thru cover for about 30seconds.(IT HAPPENS on the odd occasion, where the hot tip falls off and the mad panic begins!! So would greatly protect my investment in the seat)comfort is good, but not like sheepskin. They even made me some covers for the armrests too.Well priced compared to sheepskin and they can be removed and machine washed.Matt is the guy to deal with, who I found extremely helpful and friendly,as are all I spoke to at the firm.Give em a go!!

I'll be serious now, I decided to get those good looking covers, not the cow skins...yuk but all the fibres kept coming off them and stuck to my clothes.but if you say a good set of sheep skin covers are near $700 just for the front they must be extremely good quality, I paid about $90 for a pair at Supercheap for the truck I use to drive and they lasted a long time but they got so much bulldust in them , but are those Supercheap wools real ????

Truckster,
Yes I have a set, drivers seat lasted around 200K km. They are just tough velour. I wasnt impressed with the fit and they stretch only a little bit. Seats were a bit crushed on corners etc. Im sure they could have done a better job
They wash well and have just strips of elastic for tie downs

I saw some sheep skins where just the seat (and backrest) area were skin and the rest was fabric, this brought the price way down

Ive just ordered a new (dingo) canvas one for the drivers seat and reusing the rest in the new wagon.

Any reason you went these over Black Duck or CC Candy Canvas covers?

I'd never heard of this lot before you posted.

Ordered a set of Black duck when I bought my last Patrol but took ages to get them and they didnt make rear seat ones, so went and bought Ruffnuts in the mean time.
Out come is I now have a brand new pair of Black duck covers which dont fit new model very well.
Anyone interested - half price.

Now to answer you question......
Not really sure (ie I had a reason but cant rememberit!) , they seem good people, based in Weipa Qld and do work for mining gear. They do commercial duty and a bit softer version which I hope will suit my uses. They also made a version to suit rear tables in GU4 and came in a black softer canvas to suit new trim.
They have a website dingoseatcovers.com.au

so they will fit Series 3 ok? could be interested at 1/2 price.

Are they soft or harsh? thats what worries me about canvas.

I had a look at Crazies ones at his joint, adn didnt feel too bad when rubbing hadn on them, but didnt bother sittin on em. THATS what worries me lol...

Should do. I can check the labels on the wrapper. They should fit even new model except for the rear fold down tables on the ST-S
My old one was a 2003 model which they were bought for.
They are made of strong canvas but soften more quite quickly. No joins on the seat leaves them fairly smooth and not uncomfortable at all.
I have used this brand in the past and they were pretty good
Let me know
