Hi David,
I had a quick look through the site yesterday and found no obvious icon link to the Bureau of Meteorology web site www.bom.gov.au (if I'm incorrect, please disregard this post).
The BOM is very useful. Not only for forecasts, but Radar and Satellite images throughout Australia.
There are a number of localized forecasting systems. However, the BOM is particularly helpful for people in the Eastern States who are planning a trip into the interior.
Regards
Kim

Bill,
Trip Planning - Australian Facts
Topic Search - Visit Australia & Trek Notes
Various links to the regions from trek notes, road conditions etc. We are looking at a structure change in the next few months but it is available.
