Over the first week of nsw holidays we are intending to do some
camping around Tabulum, Killarney and
Stanthorpe. Over the long weekend
camping on private property around drake then thought we would do the run from tabulum through to woodenbong then go queen mary falls then finish up doing the wineries around
stanthorpe then call into rover
park for a day or two any suggestions for a pleasant
bush camp in the area especially on the run through to woodenbong any suggestions would be appreciated barb

Half way between
Tabulam and Woodeenbong the road crosses the Clarence river. There are some bush
camp sites near the bridge or just to the north of the bridge along the river.
Also on the south of the bridge are some
historic graves and "
Brisbane Line"
tank traps from the war.

while on the road,a bonalbo or old bonalbo local can direct you to a free great clean site on the clarence river, i cant remember the exact directions about 10- 20k of dirt off the main rd...a while since i was there....no authorities will hassle you while camped there as long as you behave yourself
