Apparently none.

As someone with a Kmart fishing rod and a "Boys Own" fishing kit who shows them the water about three times a year I spent a couple of days last week fishing in the Murray and caught nothing - probably because I have absolutely no idea of how to fish - and on that basis have no intention whatsoever of buying any kind of licence. No one seemed to mind.

PS. Is this what is called “bait”? :)

The Murray is classed as NSW waters and a licence is available at the Hattah Store

Either or both licences are available at most fishing tackle stores and some servo stations. Some people are exempt from requiring a licence, you may be, so ask before you buy.
Tight lines,

In Vic you need a fishing licence even if you are catching Goldfish from your neighbour's pond.

$20 per year, available from any Servo or General Store anywhere near a puddle.

It's another tax grab, but nothing like the speeding levy.

I think you can also get 3 day or 7 day passes which are even cheaper.
