Hi all
Just had a surprise phone call from an acquaintance. He's interested in buying my Barrett 550 with autotune/aerial .. would anyone know a fair price to ask for it? It's hardly ever been used (we bought it new). Have been caught totally offguard by him and he'll be arriving here within the next 2 or so hours.
Thanks guys

Got my 950 system second hand in 04 for $1500 - they are still going for about $1800 it seems. Guess $1000+ would be fair for the 550 (the current Barrett 2050 would be
well over $3000 I expect) - far as I know the 550 had all commonly required functions (mobs of channels, sel/tel etc and you have mentioned the autotune etc). Keeping the age of the 550 in mind, versus the value of a 3 year full warranty on new ones ........ ?

Tell him you need more time to figure out a fair market price - you are not a charity I assume?
