Had to drop off an old fridge on the weekend (that had finally died) to the scrap metal dealers. It was the fridge we bought when we got married 30 and a bit years ago.
Well, sitting there next to the scrap bin were 2 slightly used white nissan 16x6 rims.
Picked them up straight away, now got 11 rims for the pajero and trailer. Can set up some off road and on road tyres.
Some times you just get lucky. :o)
SWMBO was not impressed though when I brought something back. :-(

Oldplodder,
Don't feel alone I get it all the time from SWMBO.
I even got in trouble for buying myself a fathers day present.
Cheers Kev

OP, when we take stuff to the dump they have a company that recycles stuff (flogs it). The end result is that they are all over your stuff as soon as it's out of the trailer, but God help you if you even look around at the rest of
the tip.
I once dumped some stuff and went down to the recycling
shop. Spent about an hour there and ended up looking at the stuff I'd just dumped !

Thanks
I am amazed that the old white 16x6 nissan rims (circa 1992 to 1998ish) seem to be a scrap item now.
Even hard to get from 2nd hand rim
places, most just chuck them.
Suppose most people are going 16x7 now and 265/75/16.
