Gday all,, Home again after 10 weeks fishing on the
Pilbara coast. Travelled 940 Km in the Tinny so says the GPS,caught a heap of Snapper and mud crabs and had a beer or three. couple of reds as
well. I know, its a hard life but someone has to do it.

Gday Ken,,There are so many
places to launch a Tinny on the north west WA coast they are too numerous to mention. I like to fish around
Onslow as the Mackeral islands tend to provide sheltered waters for small boats. There are also tidal creeks for mud crabs and trolling with a lure. General rule is if the
creek is hard to get to it will have the best fishing, you can only fish in the creeks every second week when the high tide is during the day, in about 2 Hrs before high tide and out about 2 hrs after the change or you may have to carry the boat out.
Best of luck for your trip next year. Nav.
