Hi, THis is the fisrt time I have actually posted a thread.
Basically looking for genuine advice.
I have a leaf sprung HiLux with 2" King springs front and rear, 33`s and 30mm body lift. The front springs seem to have sagged alot in the space of 2yr`s and the LHS is worse than the RHS.
I thought King springs had a good name. But Now I have to replace them.
With what ?

hey dude
Have you added anything to the truck, winch, bull bar, second battery? It it has a winch and bar, i would think it would have about a 6 leaf front spring.

Hey mate
If you have added this gear afterwards then yes, a stronger spring. Just a guess, is the extra battery you put in, on the side sagging the most? rears are fine cause you added the weight to the front and tend to be a bit stronger
Look for a 6 leaf spring, also watch the steering drag link on drivers side and make sure you use a flat top forged u-bolt on that side.
cheers

YEP, the battery is on the sagging LHS side, I got the flat top U-bolt with
the springs. Thanks for your reply crazie it has helped me out straight away.
I`ll chase up some six packs for the front. Maybe I`LL try OME springs.
Cheers.

Thanks stephen for that info, Thats pretty cheap for front springs.
Do yours have six leafs on front ?
And if its not too much hassle for ya, What measurement do you have between the bump stop and the chassis ? I currently have 85mm on RHS and 70mm on LHS.
I`ve seen other hilux`s with 2" lift and they seem to have about 120mm just guessing, But I dont know what brand they would`ve had.

Thanks for that steve, but I`ll drop in and see TJM and see what they reckon, Cause I`m thinking of adding a winch soon so I might have to beef it up a bit more.
cheers.
