Very simple , dont do it . Only injection kit if you have to.

Simple rule , anything with a plastic manifold , dont put on gas unless its injected.

Yes they can be put on gas, but it need’s to be done right, I.E Injection

They aren’t that bad on fuel thou.

Mine isn’t on gas but it can be done, I know of one Explorer that has run on gas for 170,000K’s problem free until recently when it backfired in some heavy sand driving and destroyed the air box, The owner neglected to check the engine after the backfire and did 2 more day’s of beach driving before looking under the bonnet, by that time it was too late and the engine had eaten a fair amount of sand.

The Truck has it’s problems like any other 4WD, OEM Parts are expensive to buy in Australia and the aftermarket option’s are limited, I do all my own servicing and order most replacement parts from the U.S.

How do I find it> Well you get a lot of car for you money, mine has never let me down and it isn’t bad off-road, thou I have a 2-inch lift and 31” ST’s.

Cheers.
