Lucky there was someone close enough to prevent another tragedy.

Unfortunately the problems been around for a long time.

Fifteen years ago we were waiting for the barge when our friends young girl cried out. I turned around and a dingo had her by the hand. Soon let go when I tried to kick it.

Broke the skin but not a great deal of damage. Lucky that time.

I've seen these dogs gang up on our youngest son about 10 years ago. About three young dogs tried to have him at Lake McKenzie but he was smart enough to swim out into the lake and back toward the "beach". They are opportunists and could see that being a couple of hundred meters away made him an easy target, he was about 14 then but was kneeling down in the water and looked much smaller. We have always made sure to keep an eye out just like you would if there were any other wild animal threat.

Kind regards
