All,
I've had Coppers in the past on a previous 4WD and was happy them. Now my 2 year old factory fitted Dullers are close to needing replacing.
Been quoted $400 at one place for Cooper ATR LT265/70R17.
Been quoted $290 at another
I lease my 4WD so apprantley get a discount at certian tyre dealers
Yes the cheaper price is from the prefered dealer, what have others paid?

The price of Coopers seem pretty consistent from what I can see - and $290 seems like a good price for ATRs although I do not have the pricelist.
$400 on the other hand seems like the guy is not really a proper Cooper Dealer - he is buying them from somebody else.
Remember if buying ATRs that you should buy them in a Capital City to get the Capital City mileage guarantee 80 or 90,000 km - that is, if you are going to get them checked and rotated like they require you to do.
(see

Ciao for now
Andrew.

Paul,
I paid $1200 for four tyres and a wheel alignment.
This was from a coopers dealer in
Wollongong six months ago.
265/70R17 for my 2003 Prado.
So around $300 per tyre is the going price I would think.
Cheers
Garth

Dave,
Only done a bit over 5k on the tyres.
Doesn't seem to be any real wear as yet. Only bitumen driving so far.
Not overly noisy compared to the grandtreks. But it has been winter and the windows were up!
So far I'm happy. Time will tell.
