Hi all,
Im sure this, or something
well similar has already been posted and
well answered.
Ive had a quick scoot through some archives here but not quite found what im looking for.
Ok, ive got a 96 troopie, 1HZ.
Any figures of fuel consumption for lil old me?
What KMS should i be getting per
tank, or out of both of her tanks?
Thanx Guys n Gurls! :)

Loaded you can rely on 450 per 90l
tank, unloaded a bit more. Ours was never used empty so am unable to help with unladen figures.
A roof rack knocked about 2mpg off and the camper did the same.

I would average about 13 litres per 100klm which is about 690klms per
tank
Thats unladen with a new motor and rebuilt pump, injectors.
I think on a long trip it would go even lower if you were easy on the pedal.

Troopmaster,
I am getting about 16l/100klm.
That is with a roof rack and never less than 3.5t.
This figure will vary with how heavy the right foot is, where it is driven eg. in the mountains or on the flats and if it has a after market turbo.
