80 series GXL Wheels Wanted

Hi All I am trying to source a set of 4 or 5 GXL steel wheels for my 80 series cruiser. Tyres would be good but are not urgent.

Andy - where d'ya live?
I recently amassed a set of six by checking out all (and I mean nearly every damned one of 'em) tyre dealers in Perth. Scored one here and one there and eventually got the 6 for an average of $100 each.
Quokka often will have a set and usually for about $150 per rim which seems to be the going rate.

Andy, I am based is Sydney and have a set of 5 - 1990 GXL 80 series chrome steel wheels with tyres on them (30-50% tread) that I am no longer using, if you are interested in that style.

I am extremely interested in the wheels. They are actually for a friend that has no computer skills and has asked me to see what I can do. He asked me to ask you if they are the 16x8 size and what type of tyres are on them. He would be interested in freighting them to central Victoria at his expense. If your mate is still after them, there is a pair advertised at www.autotrader.com.au today, 30 march...

Landcruiser 80 Series GXL rims (6), 16in x 8in, good condition, $400 negotiable TAREE 02-6551 3381. Wish I was in Australia at the moment, I would call him up myself....
