Hi there all.
Ive just brought a new Jayco Eagle outback from the Jayco dealer in Hexham and he told me that Jayco has its own 40ah gel battery that i could buy from them for $215 to put in the Eagle.
The thing is i can get a ALco 100ah Gel for $225 from a spare parts shop down the road.
The thing is that i dont know anything about the Alco brand and was hoping that some one out there may have used this brand before and tell me the goods and bads of the Gel battery.

Thanks for your time and hope that someone out there can help me.
Cheers
Ken

Answer your question with another "do you believe that Jayco has a battery factory that produces a battery purely for their own application ?" course bl--dy not !! buy your own ,better than double the amp hrs for an extra $10 ,, me ,myself ,I ,would look a bit further and fit an AGM ,, $215 for a 40amp hr gel battery ,tell your "dealer" his DREAMING.

ALCO

Best I can find is they are agents for Delkor, Fulriver and Trojan.

AGM's are very much alike and the price is right. Best I can do is $220 but the freight would kill it.

Regards Derek.
