Hi All,
in the past theres been posts to alert members of potential scams etc, we feel this one should be exposed, about a year ago the wife foolishly signed with a mob called Doubleday book club, the ad reads books at a dollar a go, you should know its only the first 6 then its full whack and when you
sign its a legal contract which you cant get out of, a year later and a couple of hundred bucks , the mongrels now want to charge us to stop the incessant junk mail they keep sending us, this
forum has been good enough to save us making a mistake like this in the past so we hope this helps anyone thinking of doing the same thing, beware its more than a dollar a book,
Dave

Dave,
Don't feel bad about it. They've been around a loooonnnnnnnggggggg time. If they send you a reply paid envelope, take advantage of it and stuff it full of any junk mail you get from anyone and send it back to them. Just resist the temptation to include anything with your name and address details :))))))))

Al. There is a certain bottom feeder of ASX stocks that I have done things like that too, but now he expects you to put your own stamp on to accept his offers. As long as you don't put your address on it, it will still go to him for an even higher recovery cost!
You can actually affix the Reply Paid Envelope to any old parcel and fill it with even more useless advertising material for his/her information :-))))))))))) Even a couple of weeks newspapers if you have a big enough envelope to send it. I have a couple of padded ones if anyone wants one

John,
LOL .... that's just the scumbag I was thinking of when I replied to Dave's post. It's a pity that all recipients of that scumbag's unsolicited offers don't reply as per Gary's suggestion hahahaha
