Will be spending a few days on the sunshine coast next week and have a day at LCMP planned. can some one tell me the quickest route to take, On some maps I have seen a road/trac link kenilworth to the road to jimna, is this accessible or is there another way I should go, I dont want to waste time on the black stuff getting there.

Try this link,
www.landcruisermountainpark.com.au/
I always go through
Kilcoy because I live at Caboolture. The other routs should be OK in your 4x4. Give the
park a ring if you wish their number is on the link

You can always come through Imbil and over Mt Buggary (which can be an interesting drive on its own at times) this brings you out right at the front
gate to LCMP

That's right Dave and probably the advised route if Darren is coming from the Nossa end of the Sunshine Coast.
If however you are down the sothern end of the coast and go to Kenilworth, the Sunday
Creek Road (just south of Kenilworth) brings you out about 4kms south of Jimna on the Jimna to
Kilcoy rd. If you turn north bound on this Jimna to
Kilcoy rd you will then be on the right track to find the Landcruiser mountain
park turnoff about 20km up the road.
Sunday Ck Rd is about 40km of dirt off memory and most would say it's a good dirt road. This sounds like the road Darren was looking at on his maps.
Cheers Trevor.

Hey Darren, if you are coming from Coolum I think the Mt Buggery road that Dave suggested would be the way to go. It is a nice drive and brings you out at the LCMP turnoff like he said. Not hard to find your way across this way either as long as you have a map of that area.
Cheers, Trevor.
