I have the above GPS and have it interfaced to laptop and Oziexplore mapping software. I have recently encountered a problem when attaching the USB cable to the Laptop I get a message informing me that "Windows does not recognise the device and that the device has malfunctioned. I am using Win XP Professional. Can anybody help?
I live in
Brisbane and am willing to take the Laptop and Explorist 500 to a technician

Turn computer off and do a re-start with the everything connected , it should find new hardware
