Hi everyone, I was hoping for some assistance/advice if anyone has any to offer, kind of the opposite to an 'Exploring Aus' topic but....

I have rented a site for our 17' caravan to be placed on permanently at Cudmirrah, just Sth of Sussex Inlet in NSW. It's taken ages to find a site that we're stoked with and accordingly we're looking to make the van into a comfortable long term holiday proposition so....

My question is, does anyone know a supplier that deals in the aluminium/foam sandwich type annex's that you see on permanent on-site vans in parks all around Australia? I guess I was looking for someone local to the area to save on transport costs etc.

Also, does anyone have any info on buying these in kit form and erecting them yourself? Is is possible and would it be worth it cost-wise or would it be easier/more sensible to get the manufacturer to install?

Any info provided is greatly appreciated.

G'day Gavin,

Award RV sell them, "$4500 in your back yard"... Only problem is they are in Vic... Contact them, they may be able to advise you on who to call more locally and can probably give you info on DIY.

Bob Hall At Warners Bay (NSW central coast) does supply New & 2nd Hand ones & erects them, does up & down the coast, really knows(over 20 years ex) he's stuff great job & good prices & a nice guy.i will see if i can find he,s phone Number I know he does this area (Bay & basin) as he drops in from time to time ( he,s a member of Catherine hill bay surf life saving club so you should be able to find him

Try this ebay auction number 160027932095 to find a 2nd hand annex available from Ulladulla. I was cruising ebay and came across this auction....might suit your needs.

PS. My folks have a place at Berrara which is around the corner from Swan Lake...great place and you will have many fun filled days in the area.
