Has anyone had any problems with Alko shocks the short ones used in conjuction
with their rubber torsion bar
suspension

Yeep never lasted one trip a waste of money.
The rubber
suspension is great! no problems.

Yeh we only had one trip and the shocks totally fell apart in our hands. They didn't even do 5000 kms. Can anyone suggest any other brand of shock that do last!!!!!

Personally i don't think you need the shockers,the
suspension works ok without them.

No shocks on our Kanga.
Kanga have been using the Alko system for nearly 15 years and Gary reckons he could count the failures on less than 2 hands worth of fingers. And some that he described - like broken studs - happen for reasons other than manufacturing problems too.
I only run ours with tyre pressures at about 18-20psi off road and no dramas for us.
