Speaking of caravan parks, whatever happened to the proposal for 4wders to invest in one ?

John, I'd buy that myself ..if only Lotto would send me a big enough cheque.
Think of the campfires....the joyful distractions...the sewage disposal. the crowds.....the traffic.....
Ok clever guy, forget it !!
:)))))

F'loosie, Bruce you can see knows the paddock and the bush there. No crowds. Just 600 cows peering at you over the fence every few weeks......

billions been spent round
Port Campbell already mate. Not enough sparkys around here. Unemployment round here has been the low 3s for the last three years or so, making it very difficult to get people. They all want to work on the gas for high pay. They get 600 or so LAHA allowance. District houses went up in value, rentals too.
There are several gas facilities about now and we have three pipelines. Don't know if Mortlake will go ahead or not, expect that our pixie pracksie is leaving announcements until after the election. No oppostion to the windfarm East of Colac.
You just don't know what Bonz and I may have been talking about yesterday arvo now do you. LOL wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Actaully the
Timboon CVP isn't off the ground yet, though Port and
Peterborough ones function ok.

What JohnR said about unemployment, even youth unempoyment was around 7% before the gas thing went nuts, I suspect that has fallen even further. Last time I looked in the
latrobe valley youth unemployment was at 23%
Now who has a problem with those lovely graceful wind farms, a lovely example of nature's power at work for the good of all mankind!!!
There is a bloke setting up a
Timboon caravan
park but it seems to be taking a very long time so someone more illustrious could still beat him to the punch......
