I have heard rumours about a new prado being released at the end of this year - can anybody elaborate?

Cheers,

New diesel version come out shortly with D4D engine (similar to the current
Hilux diesel). Also a bit of facelift expected for the petrol version.

From some rumors should be a bit of bumper bar shape touchup, nothing major...

They sre slresdy on sale, looked at one today in WA.

Engine appears to be noiser.

Still 5000 kms between services.

Fuel consumption still to be established, as windscreen sticker said 12.6 per 100.

That has to be wrong as old one was 11.4.

Have asked Toyota to clarify.

Regards

you couldn't have seen one yet and especially 'on sale' in WA as I work for toyota and they have yet to come through my work place, and we are one of the first to see them as we prep them for the dealers before they go on sale. could you please ellaborate what you saw?

I was at Manjanup Toyota.

He indicated to me that August production, which this one was, have the CRD engine.

I did not view the engine, but it sounded nothing as quite as mine which is April 2004 production.

I will be in Bunbury tomorrow and I will physically check.
